Those things are mean! (And ugly!) I’m pretty sure they know I consumed one of their relatives, too.
I got a Tom turkey and he is a perfect gentleman. But he is a Royal Palm that’s why. My 4 wild Toms got mean and that was the end of them. Yummy yum.
Sometimes they look quite angry and sometimes quite mournful, depending on the angle you catch them at.
