“For man, autumn is a time of harvest,
of gathering together.
For nature, it is a time of sowing,
of scattering abroad.” – Edwin Way Teale
Fall has finally arrived at the Homeward Bound Memorial Garden.

Fall has finally arrived at the Homeward Bound Memorial Garden.
It has been overcast and/or raining most of the week here. The fall colours are magnificent but lack their luster without the sun. And today the breeze has come up and is taking some of those brilliant leaves away. The down side of Fall is that it’s brighter side lasts such a short time.
True enough. Soak up the colors while you can…and start planning for spring! 🙂
Beautiful and poignant – I loved the quotes as well as the photos.
Thank you, Lynn! I’m looking forward to seeing and sharing the garden in its first full Fall 🙂
