Morning’s blessed rain highlights fall colors…
But can’t hold a candle to evening’s misty fog.
I am a nascent gardener, rescuer, and photographer, chronicling the journey of the dogs at Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary near Sacramento, CA - and the Memorial Garden we have devoted to them.

Beautiful evening pictures. Thanks for sharing!
so gorgeous! ❤
Thanks Cindy…trying to keep up with you!
Love the fog pictures especially – just beautiful.
A blog post title from you that contains the word ‘rain’ is always a good sign. Nice photos. 🙂
A tiny drop in the bucket…but every drop helps!
Beautiful pictures, just beautiful!
Gorgeous photos!! What camera do you use? (I love my little Canon point-n-shoot, but I can’t get shots like yours with it.)
That’s how I started out three years ago! 🙂 Look way back on the blog…you’ll see! I switched to Nikon and caught the photo bug. I now shoot with a Nikon D800e.
Cool! Well, it certainly takes great pix!! But for my purposes, the Canon point-n-shoot and the camera on my iPhone are “good enough”. I can’t justify a DSLR to my own satisfaction, especially now with hubby retiring as of 3 PM EST today.
Yeah for hubby! Congratulations! 🙂
What a photo of that maple tree!! WOW!
🙂 Thank you!
Beautiful, just gorgeous. This is my favorite time of year and those photos show just why it is.
