I find my faith in nature…
the skies, woods, meadows and garden are my cathedral.
I place my faith in something that has no name. All I know is that it greater than all of us.
I try to live my life by one rule: treat others as you hope to be treated.
“Make yourself necessary to somebody. Do not make life hard to any.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Spring is a time of rebirth, celebration and remembrance for people of many faiths.
Regardless of which faith guides you, my hope for all during this special time is to find beauty,
joy,
understanding,
acceptance,
and awe…
that the world might be a better place for all.
Beautifully presented. What more could one wish………than for those words to encircle our planet. Thank you.
Nature is my church as well; and, like you, I try to live by “the golden rule”. I struggle at times, though, because some people just bring out the worst in me. Ah well if I were perfect, I would no longer be physically here on Earth. Have a wonderful week! Hope Governor Brown’s water restrictions don’t end up destroying your beautiful garden!
Our area went to these restrictions over a year ago. I can’t believe he is just now imposing them!
Frankly, I’m surprised, too.
PS. I LOVE the photo of the Golden puppy resting its head on its sibling’s body! That face is just too precious for words!
How absolutely beautiful. Thank you. I agree that the picture of the puppy is absolutely precious. Just love these posts.
Thanks, Carol!
Such beautiful sentiments and these photos, from the two rabbits to the puppies, are just glorious!
What a beautiful post. I never feel closer than I do when I am working in the garden and watching all the plants, birds, pollinators, and animals work their magic. You can’t exist with nature and not appreciate a higher being.
Absolutely agreed! 🙂
