“The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house.
All that cold, cold, wet day.”
~ Dr. Seuss
After almost a week of rain, we’re all a little bit stir crazy. So when the clouds broke a bit and the sun shone for oh so short a time, heels kicked up –
and they were off!
There’s just nothing like dogs
or puppies
with the serious case of zoomies to brighten your day –
unless it’s dogs going to their new forever homes.
Fare thee well Breezy,
Goldie,
Summer,
And Oscar, who found the perfect group of six to wear down his youthful exuberance and get him trained into some semblance of a well-mannered pup!
The rain will return on Wednesday, but until then, we play!
Wonderful pictures as always. Wonderful news on all those beautiful pups getting their forever homes!!! That news just made my day. Thank you.
Playtime and happy endings – it’s a good week where you live. 🙂
It’s cold and dreary. Woof
“What a fun morning meeting new pals,” woofed Summer!
Such a happy post! Yay!
Enjoy the rainless day – how wonderful to hear that so many are going “home” – makes my heart sing!
And the final count for 2016: 355…home!
Fantastic!
Dogs, puppies, mud, sunshine and smiles – all the best things in life.
We’re having cloudy days this week – with a damp breeze that chills me to my bones – but at least the dogs are happy playing in the yard. I just have to do a little paw wiping when we go back inside.
Sooooo glad to see those lovely pups going to their new homes! Makes my heart smile!
Happy days! Beautiful photos, so much love and laughter contained within.
So glad so many great pooches found found homes! And is the Bernese Mt. Dog a resident or a visitor? I love those dogs! It’s beautiful 🙂 I know those bursts of sun, or even just a short break from the rain make Woody very happy. He’ll go lay under the patio cover and just enjoy it, no matter how cold it is. 🙂
The Bernese is a visitor…but we have had a couple in residence before. They are a secret favorite of our president! 🙂 Golden of heart if not by pedigree.
