Our downpours made great homes for all those wonderful, juicy worms! There must be many happy birds around these days. This bird looks like it’s in heaven 🙂 One of the things I like about your nature photos is learning the names of critters I’ve never heard of before. I’ve lived in this area since 1989 and have never heard of a Grackle! What an expressive face in that top photo! I would never dream of taking it’s worm away! 😀
I don’t recall ever seeing them before, but now they are everywhere. Returned with the rain, I guess!
