Oh, Arthur. You are breaking my heart with that sweet face.
I love this photo. My first family dog growing up was a Weimaraner. Her name was Heidi. After looking through some old photo albums, my husband called her “the most photographed dog in the world.” That was before Harper Lee came along. 😉
We also had a Weimaraner when I was growing up, Lady. She was such a love, and I adored her. Today I hear people say what difficult dogs they are, especially around small children and I’m so surprised – which of course give the chance to defend the breed. Thanks for posting this beautiful pic of Arthur, it was so nice to think of her again.
I cannot think of a better breed than a Weimaraner for any family! Our dog was almost like a sister to me – such a comfort, and seeing the photograph of Arthur brought back many wonderful memories. The work you do is amazing and wonderful!! If you would like to contact me, please do at elisaruland@bellsouth.net.

What a sweet, inquisitive face. Beautiful.
How precious is he? What a beautiful face. Beautiful boy!

What a gorgeous face and I love those huge, soft ears 🙂

If Arthur had any issue with kids, it was clearly not evident when he met his new friend: https://gardensforgoldens.com/2017/02/22/wordless-wednesday-going-home-day/
