Sweet Spring.
Spirited.
Poignant.
Boisterous.
Fleeting.
“And the secret garden bloomed and bloomed and every morning revealed new miracles.”
Sweet Lindsey…
Humphrey…
and Gunner.
Spirited.
Boisterous.
Poignant.
and fleeting? We cannot say.
“Is the spring coming?” he said. “What is it like?”…
“It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine…”
~ Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
May they bloom like little miracles.
“Life is good…today.”
Might awesome work.
Beautiful, soulful and bittersweet.
Beautiful pictures, and beautifully spoken as usual. Do I dare ask, what these sweet puppies are ailing from?
Eight-week-old Humphrey has Hydrocephalus and is almost completely blind. Four-month-old tiny Lindsey has a severe case of insulin-dependent diabetes. And sweet four-month-old Gunner has an inoperable liver shunt. Prayers please.
I figured Humphrey as he has that look, and reminded me of the one the Taylor’s had. Will be storming the heavens for these sweet babies!
Winnie…who is still with us. Which gives us hope for little Humphrey. Storm those heavens!
Oh, babies…..prayers most definitely.
Every day is a gift. Thank you so much for the gift of love that Homeward Bound is giving to these sweet dogs, and thank you for the gift of beauty found in your garden. And now I give all of you the gift of prayer.
A welcome gift. And a beautiful note. Thank you!
So beautiful…cherishing every moment!
