Under A Winter Sky

Thousands of Snow Geese on their migration along the Pacific Flyway take refuge from the hunters in the rice fields adjacent to the Memorial Garden.

Joined by their ducky friends and grey geese.

  1. I love this about our location here in Northern CA. Just visited the Woodbridge refuge to get my annual dose of the sandhill cranes flying in for the evening. Amazing! Also treated to two great-horned owls at my visit there. These are marvelous photos – thank you!
