Nice captures. Preparing for winter. Our cat found a rat’s nest with babies under our deck, complete with two new (thought buried) nibbled kongs, apricot pits, empty snail shells, our deck umbrella tie, pillow stuffing Cooper discarded, and more. It was touching, though my neighbors exterminate them in their homes. Nature’s recyclers. We each make do, don’t we?
One person’s garbage is another’s nest! As long as they stay out of my attic, I’m good with it.
