For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
For flowers that bloom about our feet;
For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;
For all things fair we hear or see,
Father in heaven, we thank Thee! ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
IΒ share this poem each Thanksgiving, as a reminder of all that we have to be grateful for. I include each of you in that gratitude list, for traveling with me on this journey – and for the friendships I have made along the way.Β Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. π Your photos are all gorgeous, but the hummingbird goes to another level. Wow is all I can say and thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Judy! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving and I am grateful for knowing you…
And you… π
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Happy Thanksgiving! Love the poem, and the photos and the complete surrender to gratitude. Thank you.
Thank you!
I am so thankful for the dedicated gardeners of the HB garden who continue to create and maintain the most special haven for dogs and humans alike. And to you Audrey, for sharing your true gift of prose and photography. Happy Thanksgiving
Thank you, Susan. Happy Thanksgiving…and we’ll see you soon!
Such a beautiful poem and the perfect words to carry us through your stunning photos. Your hummingbird shot is exquisite! Thanks for the well wishes. Happy Thanksgiving!
And to you. π

I’m grateful for our friendship as well! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
And to you, Ina!! See you soon.
Oh so beautiful, like your heart.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Hubby and I met up with his sister and brother-in-law near Atlanta and were gone most of the day. Our pet sitter came by to check on the girls a few times, and to play with them; but they were both very happy to see us when we got home.
I like that poem you shared! It does say it all, doesn’t it?! Thank you for your friendship, too!
I’m glad you had a little bit of get-away time. You’ve had a tough year, but despite the sorrows – there is still much to be thankful for. Not the least of which are bumps and lumps with an “all-clear!” Thank you for your friendship as well. π
I love all your photos, too! The one of the hummingbird is exquisite! But I must admit that my favorite is the one of the Golden puppy being cuddled in someone’s lap. I guess I’m just a softie for puppies. π
