When someone you love becomes a memory –

Last July 4th, a miracle named Buster was delivered to us.
He stole everyone’s heart – but he claimed one as his own.
He stayed longer than anyone expected…
but it is never long enough.
To his heartsick human mom he would say ‘remember me with the smile and laughter that filled my days with love.’

Buster, we hardly knew ye…rest in peace, sweet boy.
It still amazes me how one dog can have such a profound and lasting impact on me. He loved life, he loved everything and everybody, he never stopped smiling. He changed me, I am grateful for every moment..
I’m sorry for your loss Lori. Thank you for taking him in and loving him until the end.
The love & companionship of a Golden is a journey well taken but the heart ache of losing one leaves you devastated.
